The Ontario Sugarbeet Growers Association (OSGA) established the Brian Fox Memorial Agricultural Scholarship in honour of founding Chair of the OSGA, the late Brian Fox who passed away in 2013. Brian was a well-respected farmer, community leader, and innovative businessman from Chatham-Kent. The scholarship is intended to support and encourage young people interested in a career in agriculture.
The Brian Fox Memorial Agricultural Scholarship was originally funded by generous donations from various agricultural businesses in Ontario, the Michigan Sugar Company, the OSGA, and the Fox Family. The scholarship fund is currently managed by the Sarnia Community Foundation on behalf of the OSGA.
